Recently, the Liaoyang Ecological Environment Bureau accepted and publicized two projects, including the 100,000-ton/year nylon 66 project of Liaoyang Petrochemical Branch.

Construction site: In the existing factory area of the Nylon Operation Department of Liaoyang Petrochemical Branch, Hongwei District, Liaoyang City
Constructor: PetroChina Liaoyang Petrochemical Company
Project Background: The company used to have a production capacity of 20,000 tons/year of adiponitrile, 20,000 tons/year of hexamethylenediamine, and 15,000 tons/year of nylon. The technology adopts the patent of French Rhodia company . Now using independent technology, we have developed a more advanced and environmentally friendly complete technology package. The company now has a post-processing modification capacity of 12,500 tons and rich experience in nylon modification. Modification technology and product types are still the mainstream in today’s market.
Project Overview: The total investment of the project is 1,247.09 million yuan, covering an area of 5.45ha. The project uses adipic acid produced by the company’s existing adipic acid plant as the main raw material to produce nylon 66 chip products. The main production units include 50,000 tons/year adiponitrile unit, 50,000 tons/year hexamethylene diamine unit, 120,000 tons/year salt-forming unit and 100,000 tons/year nylon 66 unit. The main raw materials are self-produced Diacid and purchased liquid ammonia, the final product is nylon 66 chips, and finally forms a complete industrial chain of adipic acid-adiponitrile-hexamethylenediamine-nylon 66.
