According to the data from the Ministry of Commerce’s important means of production monitoring system, in April 2023, the coal market price of the monitored sample enterprises in Fujian Province averaged 1539.83 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 2.8%. Among them, the market price of anthracite was 1375.00 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 3.5%; the market price of bituminous coal was 1622.25 yuan/ton, a month-on-month decrease of 2.5%. Overall, in April, the coal market prices of the monitoring sample enterprises in Fujian Province fell steadily. Coal mines were in normal production in April, and transportation was affected due to the weather. The trading atmosphere in the bituminous coal market was relatively cold, and the enthusiasm for downstream procurement was average, mainly on-demand procurement. It is expected that the coal market price in Fujian Province will be adjusted steadily due to the influence of changes in supply and demand in the later period.
