India launches anti-dumping investigation on polyether polyols related to China

On March 29, 2023, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued an announcement stating that in response to the application submitted by the Indian domestic company Manali Petrochemicals Ltd., an anti-dumping investigation was initiated on Flexible Slabstock Polyol (Flexible Slabstock Polyol) originating in or imported from China and Thailand. The dumping investigation period in this case is from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022 (12 months), and the damage investigation period is from 2019 to 2020, 2020 to 2021, 2021 to 2022 and the dumping investigation period. It involves products under Indian customs codes 390720, 390729 and 390799.
