According to the Ministry of Commerce’s important production data market monitoring system, this week (September 18-24, 2023), the average price of coal in Yunnan Province was 1,338 yuan/ton, an increase of 4.6% month-on-month. Among them, the average price of coking coal was 2,150 yuan/ton, up 6.2% month-on-month; the average price of thermal coal was 864.1 yuan/ton, up 6% month-on-month; the average price of anthracite was 1,000 yuan/ton, unchanged month-on-month. Before the Double Festival, the industrial sector had a greater demand for replenishment, and coal prices rose slightly. It is expected that in the later period, the demand for coal for production will increase, and coal prices may continue to maintain the current trend.
