According to data from the Important Production Materials Market Monitoring System of the Unified Platform of the Ministry of Commerce’s Business System, coal prices in Anyang City were generally strong in the fourth week of September (September 25 to October 1), of which thermal coal was 860 yuan/ tons, the price increased by 2.38% from the previous week; No. 2 anthracite lump coal was 1,257 yuan/ton, the price increased by 1.27% from the previous week; coking coal was 1,323 yuan/ton, the price increased slightly by 0.84% from the previous week. As the temperature drops in autumn, the daily consumption of power plants declines, and the residential electricity load falls. It is expected that the demand for coal will decline in the later period, and the price will show a deep downward trend.
