The latest report released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS) shows that global refined lead production in August 2023 was 1.1787 million tons, consumption was 1.1849 million tons, and there was a supply shortage of 6,100 tons. From January to August 2023, global refined lead production was 9.7148 million tons, consumption was 9.7386 million tons, and there was a supply shortage of 23,800 tons. In August 2023, global lead mine production was 354,400 tons. From January to August 2023, global lead mine production was 3.2548 million tons.
